Sudo Platform end-user clients establish initial entitlements for a user by calling the [`redeemEntitlements`](/guides/entitlements/end-user-api/redeeming-entitlements.md) API.

Current entitlement information for a user is retrieved by calling the [`getEntitlementsConsumption`](/guides/entitlements/end-user-api/retrieving-entitlements.md) API.
