# End-user API

Sudo Platform end-user clients establish initial entitlements for a user by calling the [`redeemEntitlements`](https://docs.sudoplatform.com/guides/entitlements/end-user-api/redeeming-entitlements) API.

Current entitlement information for a user is retrieved by calling the [`getEntitlementsConsumption`](https://docs.sudoplatform.com/guides/entitlements/end-user-api/retrieving-entitlements) API.
